About Kathryn

Kathryn is a mom, a Lactation Consultant and an Educator. She struggled with breastfeeding her first child and wants to improve the experience for others. Breastfeeding should be a time for connection and nurturing your little one. Kathryn is here to help ease your pain and stress and make this a fulfilling relationship that will set the stage for the rest of your parenting journey.

Kathryn has had a passion for all things lactation since she became pregnant in 2012. She supported many friends and family members with breastfeeding over the years and formalized those skills by becoming a La Leche League Leader (LLL) in 2019. Through this voluntary work she has had the honor of helping hundreds of families meet their infant feeding goals. Kathryn qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2021. She is an active member of the New Jersey Breastfeeding Coalition (NJBC).

Kathryn also has a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and taught high school Chemistry and Biology before having children. She keeps up to date with the latest lactation research through regular continuing education.

Kathryn lives with her husband and two daughters in Bloomfield, NJ. She enjoys being in nature, listening to music and traveling. She moved to the U.S. from Scotland in 2005.
